Welcome to Symmetry PT

My name is Megan Driscoll

I started Symmetry PT in 2021 to provide a quiet environment to treat my patients with pelvic floor disorders.  The traditional PT gym does not provide a calm setting with which pelvic health patients need to  breath, stretch, relax and rehabilitate.

Because many patients with a pelvic health diagnosis do not fully understand their problem it is important to me to take time to listen, evaluate and answer questions.  The evaluation takes 1 1/2 hours and subsequent appointments take 1 hr.

I have been a physical therapist for almost 30 years and have practiced pelvic health for 25 years.  During this time I have had 3 children and understand the physical and mental stress that we all deal with on a daily basis.  I have been through menopause and experienced yet again physical changes and realized how important movement is to overall health.

In my experience I have seen time and again pelvic floor disorders misdiagnosed as hip, lower abdominal, tailbone and lower back pain, UTI, IBS and prostatitis.  My mission is to educate people about their bodies and teach healthy habits while treating their ailments.

I predominantly use manual therapy, biofeedback, yoga and core strengthening as treatment interventions.

About My Approach

I started my own practice after being frustrated in not having control on how I could best treat my patients.  Standard Physical Therapy was focused on how many patients you could see in a day and not about the care you provided.  I decided to take a different approach.

Symmetry PT's approach is about the patient.  I take the time to learn about the origins of the client's dysfunction and partner with them to work on strategies to improve and prevent future occurrences.

Crossing the River

Thank you to Symmetry PT!  Megan, Thank you for taking the time to not just treat my issue, but to understand me.   After years of therapy and believing that this is something I just have to live with, I now have relief and the tools to address on my own.

Thanks Megan!  After my last pregnancy was a little rough, you helped me get back to normal.  Just in time to juggle 3 little ones at home.

Ashley Hegler

Thanks Megan for your help.  While I didn't think my issue was my pelvis....you proved me wrong.  I am pain-free and able to get back to full duty at work without restrictions.
